Self-Guided Fishing Lodge in Remote Southeast Alaska
FAQ
Frequently asked questions:
Whats the age limit?
Technically, there is no limit! We suggest children being at least 12 years old due to the fact that you will be fishing for 8+ hours in Alaska's unpredictable weather each day. Please keep in mind that we do not offer childcare and anyone under 16 can not be left at the lodge without adult supervision.
Is the lodge wheelchair accessible?
We do our best to make our little remote lodge as accessible as possible! While there are ramps at all access points of the lodge, please keep in mind that those include a floating dock and an uphill gravel walkway. You will also be getting in and out of a boat multiple times a day. The boats do NOT have ramps.
Are there any physical requirements?
As we said in the above answer, we really do our best to make this place accessible to anyone and everyone. That said, we are completely off-grid in a fly-in only area in remote Southeast Alaska. Our guests will be spending many hours in a boat fishing, walking up and down a long floating dock multiple times a day (sometimes at low tide which makes most of the dock an uphill walk), getting in and out of a boat many times each day, and catching large fish, all of which require some physical activity all day long. Please make sure to assess each person in your party's physical abilities when planning your trip and the extent of your desire to fish and play based on all members.
Do we offer any discounts?
No, we do not. We do what we can to make sure that you are getting the best bang for your buck and have cut our costs to include everything at the lowest possible price.
What about kids? Kids are the same price as adults. Each child will need beds, float plane seats, gear, bait, etc. the same as an adult!
Do we offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds under any circumstance. If you find that you will not be able to make your trip you have a few different options:
1. Book at a later available date.
2. Move booking to a different year (available up to three years after the initial booking).
3. Transfer your tickets to another group/person. The replacement guests would be responsible for paying you the cost of the trip.
