Best for: wildlife + fewer boats.

Perfect for anglers who want an Alaska adventure with plenty of sightseeing and photography opportunities
Mid-July + August:
Best for: Prime salmon fishing
- Strong salmon run
- Consistent fishing action
- Warmest weather of the season
- Excellent opportunities for both salmon & halibut
- Peak fishing season
Ideal for anglers whose primary goal is filling the fish box and experiencing Alaska’s famous salmon runs
September:
Best for: Big halibut + bear viewing
- Larger halibut are more common
- Active coastal brown bears feeding before winter
- Fewer visitors
- Beautiful fall colors
- Crisp mornings and dramatic scenery
Great for anglers looking for trophy sized fish and a quieter Alaska experience
